Run the installer on Windows 10 or 11. It finds Unreal Engine 5.8 on your computer and adds Forgeborn Bridge to it — no code, no project changes.Windows may show “Windows protected your PC” because the installer is not code-signed yet. SIGN IN WITH FORGEBORN

Open your project in Unreal Engine 5.8. The Forgeborn Bridge panel opens by itself: click Sign in with Forgeborn, check that the code in your browser matches the one in the panel and allow it. The panel then says Connected.

Talk to Claude with your Forgeborn connector. It sees your level and builds in it — scenes, props, lighting, 3D models — while you watch the editor.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Yes. Forgeborn Bridge and everything Claude does in your editor with it are free with your Forgeborn account. Only new images, videos or 3D models made with Forgeborn use credits — Claude tells you the cost first.

Unreal Engine 5.8 on Windows 10 or 11. The installer finds it by itself; if it can’t, it asks you for the engine’s folder.

Windows 10 or 11 with Unreal Engine 5.8. Recommended: an NVIDIA RTX 3060 with 8 GB VRAM or better, 16 GB RAM (32 GB recommended) and 20 GB of free space on an SSD for the plugin cache and your projects.

Not yet: Forgeborn Bridge is Windows only for now. Mac support coming soon.

The installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen asks before running it the first time. Click More info, then Run anyway. Download it only from forgeborn.ai/gamelab.

Add the Forgeborn connector to Claude — the steps are on the Forgeborn in Claude (MCP) page. Then sign in to Forgeborn Bridge in Unreal with the same Forgeborn account.

Forgeborn Bridge talks only to Forgeborn, over a secure connection; your sign-in is stored encrypted on your computer. Claude sees your level only when you ask, through fixed tools — it can’t run scripts in your editor. Imported files go to /Game/Forgeborn/Bridge in your project, and the Fab listener only accepts connections from your own computer.

Only when you ask: imported assets are saved under /Game/Forgeborn/Bridge, and the level is saved after Claude places or imports something. Your project’s settings and files are not touched.

Open Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps, find Forgeborn Bridge and click Uninstall. This removes the plugin and your saved sign-in; assets already imported stay in your projects.
